Expressions of Interest – IHA Youth Trans-Tasman Players

Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) is seeking Expressions of Interest from players for the Youth Trans-Tasman (Boys) Series against New Zealand, set to take place at IceHQ, Melbourne, 6-9 October 2025.

This international series will focus on emerging and developing pathways, providing a unique opportunity to represent Australia on the international stage featuring two Australian and one New Zealand teams.

NOTE - It is important for all players interested in being selected for the Youth Trans-Tasman teams to submit their EOI, regardless of playing in the national championships in Perth, July 2025. We understand not all players will play at the national championships due to injuries, illness, living arrangements including living overseas, and not being selected for their state.  

Submitting an EOI does not guarantee selection for a Youth Trans-Tasman team. The head coaches will review all EOIs and discuss with Member Associations, Clubs, Team, and/or Coaches, to better understand players hockey career journey.
