EOI - National Team Assistant Coaches for 2025 IIHF World Champs

Expressions of Interest are being called for assistant coaches for upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championships in 2025. The assistant coach is critical to the success of the team structure and plays a vital supporting role for head coaches. The position/s serve as an opportunity to join a national team at the highest level of Australian ice hockey and provides a pathway for future roles.

The teams assistant coaches roles are available:

  • U18 Women – Division IB – 7-13 January 2025, Katowice, Poland
  • U20 Men - Division IIB - 19-25 January 2025, Belgrade, Serbia
  • U18 Men – Division IIB – 17-23 March 2025, Sofia, Bulgaria
  • National Men - Division IIA - 27 April - 3 May 2025, Melbourne, Australia

If you are an experienced coach looking for the next opportunity, we would love to hear from you. Applications are to include a brief cover letter and resume, and also include responses to the following questions

  • Which team you are applying?
  • Why you want to be part of Ice Hockey Australia and the respective team?
  • Relevant skills you possess that would contribute to the team and staff, and/or leadership capabilities?
  • Two referees with relevant contact details
