Australia is set to host the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships, Division IIA, in Melbourne. This is a chance to see our very best players play for the Mighty Roos on home ice. The stage is set to showcase not only ice hockey in Australia but our wonderful country to the ice hockey world.

WELCOME TO AWIHL FINALS – 2024

The 2023/24 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) is gearing up for an exciting finish with the finals’ series to be played at O’Brien Icehouse in The District Docklands, Melbourne on Saturday March 9 and Sunday March 10.

AWIHL GAMES 32 & 34 ADELAIDE RUSH VS MELBOURNE ICE

On Saturday 10 February 2024, game 32 of the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League, (AWIHL) was held between Adelaide Rush and Melbourne Ice at the Adelaide Ice Arena, South Australia. During the game, which began at 4:45pm local time, many players from the Melbourne Ice and Rush teams became unwell. Players from both teams were taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital showing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
